International Conference on Mathematics and Mathematics Education (ICMME-2017)
Venue
This event will be held on May 11-13, 2017 in Şanlıurfa, Turkey (the sessions will be held on Harran University, Osmanbey campus, at Art and Science Faculty rooms).
For not only its 11500-year-old historical background but also its strategic importance owing to being on the commercial Silk Road, Şanlıurfa has become the center of attraction for visitors and become the junction between East and West where religions, cultures and civilizations meet.
Due to these characteristics, Şanlıurfa cradled many civilizations. During its history many independent states and seigniories were founded.
It is also an agricultural city with its fertile soil. With the Atatürk dam, which was constructed on Euphrates River, Şanlıurfa has become an agricultural city as well as a city of trade and culture.
The three saviors of the religion Prophet Abraham (PBUH) was born in this land. Prophet Jesus (PBUH) has surrounded this city, and therefore the city is referred to as the "city of the prophets" or "the land of the prophets". Şanlıurfa is especially identified with prophet Abraham and prophet Job (PBUH).

Transportation
After the landing, at the GAP airport, there are HAVAŞ buses which will transport the passangers to the city centre. At the last stop of the bus, another bus will be waiting for you to transfer you to the conference place or your accommodation place.
